Retouch Events ("Retouch Events," "we," "us," or "our") provides a software-as-a-service platform for professional event photo retouching. We operate from Argentina and serve clients in the United States, Latin America, and Argentina. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website and services (the "Services"), and describes the rights available to you under applicable data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), for U.S. residents, and Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326 for users in Argentina.
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect

- Account information: name, email address, password, and role (client, editor, or administrator).
- Payment information: billing details processed by our payment providers (Stripe and MercadoPago). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Content you upload: photographs, image files, and related metadata that you submit for retouching.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and information you provide when you contact us (including via email or WhatsApp).
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and similar diagnostic information collected automatically.
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers used to keep you signed in and to operate and improve the Services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including processing and delivering retouched images.
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your access.
- Process payments, subscriptions, free trials, and renewals.
- Communicate with you about your account, projects, transactions, and support requests.
- Monitor, secure, and improve the Services and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only as described below:
- Service providers: payment processing (Stripe, MercadoPago), file storage (Dropbox), hosting and database services (self-hosted Supabase infrastructure), and email delivery providers, each acting on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Our editing team: editors and administrators access your uploaded content solely to provide the retouching services you requested.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Retouch Events, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent: when you direct us to share information.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate users and operate the Services, and we may use analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Uploaded images are retained according to your plan and project lifecycle, after which they may be deleted or archived. You may request deletion as described below.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy Rights (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA provides you with the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. California's "Shine the Light" law also lets California residents request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not share personal information for such purposes.
9. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Retouch Events does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. International Users (United States, Latin America, and Argentina)
Retouch Events operates from Argentina and serves users in the United States, Latin America, and Argentina. Your information may be processed and stored on infrastructure located in Argentina, the United States, or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to the cross-border transfer and processing of your information as described in this Policy, and where required we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
If you are located in Argentina, you have rights under Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326, including the rights to access, rectify, update, and request deletion of your personal data, and you may contact Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP). If you are located elsewhere in Latin America, the data protection laws of your country may grant you similar rights.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (such as Stripe, MercadoPago, and Dropbox). Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
